Greetings PHS family, today in PE we started our Floor Hockey game play (round robin style). We started our day with a five lap jog around the gym for our cardiovascular endurance warmup, and then dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on hamstring and quadriceps muscles. Next, we performed super planks and figure four's for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Students were assigned Floor Hockey teams today and we started game play. Students did a great job today applying the skills that they learned at the beggining of the unit to actual game play. We ended our day with our static stretching routine. Let's have another exciting day tomorrow.
