Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued our skills practice for the Team Sports Unit of Volleyball. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hip flexor muscles. Next, we performed diamond grip pushups and scissors for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Today, we reviewed all of the passes for volleyball and played a simulated game.  Tomorrow, students will be assigned teams and begin game play.  We ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued our skills practice for the Team Sports Unit of Volleyball. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hamstring muscles. Next, we performed wide grip pushups and crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Today, we practiced the underhand serve, overhead serve and the spike. Tomorrow we will review every skill.  We ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings PHS family, today in PE we began our skills practice for the Team Sports Unit of Volleyball. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our quadriceps muscles. Next, we performed pushups and toe touches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Today, we practiced the forearm bump pass and the set pass for Volleyball. Tomorrow we will pratice the underhand and overhead serve as well as spiking. We ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings PHS family, today in PE we started our Team Sports Unit of Volleyball. Students took the Pre-test, and then we took notes on the official rules of the game, origin, and the vocabulary words for the unit. Tomorrow we will begin practicing skills. Let's have another great day.

Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued our game play for the Team Sports Unit of Flag Football. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our quadriceps muscles. Next, we performed staggered pushups and sit and reach crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Today, we continued game play for Flag Football Students warmed up with their assigned teams and we began game play. We ended our day with static stretches. Students please remember that we will have our Flag Football post test this Friday, please make sure that you are prepared for the test. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Next, we performed wide grip pushups and bicycle crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Today, we focused on running routes and we also practiced game simulation. We will pick teams tomorrow and begin game play. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hip flexor muscles. Next, we performed pusups and crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises.Today, we focused on practicing passing and receiving for our skills in Flag Football. Tomorrow we will practice running routes as a Wide Receiver, and begin game simulation. We ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings PHS family, today in PE we took our Post test for Softball/Whiffleball. Upon completion of the test, students wrote their reflection essays in their journal regarding their three goals at the beggining of the unit. Lastly, we played our last game of softball/whiffleball. When we return from spring break, we will begin the team sports unit of Flag Football. Have a great Spring Break.
