Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued practicing skills for the Team Sports Unit of Softball/Whiffleball. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hamstring muscles. Next, we super planks and lower abdominal crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. Students got into groups and practiced the proper technique for batting and catching. Next, we played kickball as a lead up game for sofball. Concentrating on following the official rules and using the tag up and force out rules. We ended our day with static stretching.
