Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued our 5 on 5
round robin basketball tournament. We began our day with our 5 lap warmup for
cardiovascular endurance. Next, we performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching
our hip flexors. Next, we performed diamond pushups and figure 4 crunches for
our abdominal strength exercise. Today we continued our round robin tournament.
Students effort today was great, and they are really starting to apply the
skills learned at the beginning of the unit to actual game play very well. We
ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.
