Greetings PHS family, today in PE we began practicing skills for our Team Sports Unit of Floor Hockey. We started our day with our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hamstring muscles. Next, we performed pushups and bicycle crunches for our muscular endurance and abdominal strength exercises. The Floor Hockey skill of the day was dribbling. Students performed dribbling in a straight line as well as changing directions using the cone weave. We ended our day with static stretching. On Monday, we will practice passing and receiving.
