Greetings PHS family, today in PE we continued basketball unit. We started our day with our five lap cardiovascular warmup. Next, we performed our dynamic and static stretches focusing on stretching our hamstring muscles. Then, we performed wide grip pushups for our muscular endurance exercise and bicycle crunches for our abdominal strength exercise. We practiced the skill of shooting today using the B.E.E.F. concept for students to follow. After we introduced shooting, students practiced layups, and played a couple of games of knockout, and then we continued our 3 on 3 practice games. Students did a great job today. We ended our day with our static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.
